Born in Doncaster U.K, Jamie Shaw has been playing drums all his life, and now studies drums with John Ellis MBE and the Doncaster Jazz Association. Jamie's Dad first got jamie into drumming at an early age, and was the one that first started teaching him. Jamie currently has leassons with Ian West (www.ianwest.co.uk) at electro music Doncaster.

Jamie has been playing with the Doncaster Jazz association for about 1 and a half years now, and in that time has been part of many concerts and a foreign exchange's. Jamie was also recently featured on the Doncaster Stageband's Latest CD, The Beckett Road Sessions (See audio tracks)

Jamie also has a keen interest into recording and Music Technology, and is always looking to improve his skills and learn new techniques.

Jamie enjoys playing all styles of music including Jazz, Swing, Blues, Rock, Pop, Latin, Funk etc.
